As this year comes to a close, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the incredible resilience I’ve seen in children — and the steady, loving presence of the grown-ups who support them.
Progress happens when children feel supported both in and out of the therapy room — and that support comes from adults who consistently show up with care, patience, and courage. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens because parents and caregivers keep showing up: for the hard conversations, the uncomfortable feelings, the slow progress, and the small wins that matter so much. To the parents and caregivers who kept showing up, even when it was hard: thank you. Your consistency matters more than you know.
Thank you for trusting me with your children. Trusting someone with your child’s inner world is no small thing, and I hold that responsibility with deep care and respect. It’s been an honor to walk alongside your families and witness the strength that lives in both children and their grown-ups.
